The Minotaur and Classes

Lord and Lady, the Minotaur have been nearly wiped out by disease, war, and hatred by humans. Most have taken to living in an area that the Dwarves and Elf Alliance have decreed "Nonhuman Areas of Non-Aggression", which is a huge area of mountainous and forested area, where the Mino can take refuge from those that would see them eradicated.

Some Mino, angry at the way their people are treated, have become outlaws or thugs for hire. They excel in hatred, they revel in pain, and the worship the death of those who would hurt them or their kind. Very, very dangerous indeed, kind reader!

I have personally seen a band of adventurers that consisted of two Humans, a Gnome, an Elf, Half-Orc, and a hulking Minotaur...Monk?! Yes, my friends, there is at least one Mino Monk roaming the lands, shaved pate and all!! The Gnome was actually sitting on the 'taurs shoulders, draped over the creatures mighty horns!

If that doesn't take you aback, how about those Minotaur that have chosen the class of Bard? Yes, dear reader, Bard. With their monstrous, non-Human vocal chords, Mino Bards generally provide a background of thunderous howls and guttural growls, to accompany the crashing percussion section and powerful, Human Bard's voice! I have heard, as I have never witnessed this personally, that this is singularly the most frightening, most savage, and most beautiful composition imaginable! Bring your kerchief and your courage, and attend a show such as this at once! The most well-known is by the travelling group of Human Bard Varedoon, Minotaur Bard Nigel (supposed brother of Mino Monk, Simon from the group of adventurers I had seen before), and the orchestra, Worlds' End!

Let it be known, readers, that the Minotaur have a bright future ahead of them, provided aggression against the Mino doesn't flare up again in the Human ranks!

Legends of Kallhaaden

Among the more...hard to swallow legends I have heard, my friends, are the Stone Dwarves of Kallhaaden. Legend tells of a group of dwarves so devoted to the craft of stone-working, they gods eventually endowed these dedicated dwarves the ability to turn themselves to stone at any time, and remain mobile. It is also says that anyone who is struck by either the hands or weapons of these dwarves will be turned to stone forever. It is unknown if magic can be employed to counter the condition, as this is only here say anyway. Any adventurers who are underground near Kallhaaden take note: careless mining for minerals or precious metals can call the Stone Dwarves to your location...Dig carefully!
