More 'Shared World' - Lands labeled with Placeholder names
Should there be cowboys...? That's the question!
Should there be a cowboy & indian type of setting for this world, or should it be purely a fantasy setting? I'm thinking perhaps a different world for this stuff, but I will defer to the majority. Let me know!

A not quite finished drawing of a warrior
Just playing with the idea of a 'Thunder God' type of character for a new pantheon I'm building for somewhere in this 'New World'! Lol!
Quick sketch of a...
...whatever you want to call it! A one-eyed, Popeye-forearmed, humanoid creature named 'Strongg Erm'! He doesn't mind what you call him!

New Race Idea - Forest Dwarves! Credit - Arthur Marshall!!
Hmm...A friend of mine answered my call for ideas in a roundabout way! We were gaming today (d20 fantasy setting, thank you very much!), and we started talking about Dwarves, which, along with nearly seven foot tall human fighters and mild-mannered Monk-class Minotaurs, is rapidly becoming one of my favorite races. And yes, capitalized "D" and "M" on the Dwarves and Minotaurs!
Anyhoo, he came up with the idea of 'Forest Dwarves', and it sounded intriguing. We didn't have time to expand on his idea, so I made sure to jot it down on my notepad, along with the added race of 'Aquatic Dwarves'. The Dwarf I play on Sundays' game, one hard-charging, and always over-the-top Barbarian class tank named Rutok, is always wanting to sail a ship. Let me rephrase that - Captain a ship! However, anytime he sets foot on a ship, he gets seasick, even if the boat is moored, spoiling his fun! One of these days, I may allow him to be "cured" of his affliction, and allow him to set sail on the high seas...! He does wear a 'Ring of Water Breathing', because HE NEEDS IT!! Rutok is forever falling into water traps, and this was the best idea I had for keeping him alive! When your personal motto is"Subtlety Sucks!", you will find out the pitfalls quickly! Perhaps a 'Ring of Feather Fall' as well...
Back to the original reason for the post. I like the idea of a race of 'Forest Dwarves', and I wish to expand on it. As soon as I can hook up with my gaming buddies again, I hope to back fill their story.
I hope the Elves can get along with the 'new kids on the block'!!!!! :)
Again, the credit for this cool idea goes to Arthur Marshall! Thanks, Arthur!

Shared Worlds' Concept - Gamers, Writers, and Those With Ideas!!
Greetings!!
Is there an interest for a shared world? I hope so, because I am currently starting to build a world that people can "borrow" for stories or gaming sessions, with no strings attached.
In fact, I would love it if you, the writer or gamemaster, had ideas about a culture, city concept, topography, a new race of people, etc. You get the idea. I think it would be a rich, thriving world, indeed if everyone gives input to it. It will be "our" world!
The only thing I ask is that you send me the material, either in digital, or in the mail, so I can add it to my blog so that everyone can enjoy!
Also, I would like to keep this world either d20-based or Pathfinder-based for gamers, and in the realm of a fantasy setting for writers and gamemasters. I may try and build another world for the sci-fi geeks among us at a later date, if the interest is there!
Let me know what you think about this!
Also, please do not attempt to have me introduce material "borrowed" from another author, book, television series, movie, or website! I have NO interest in "chatting" with lawyers about the "borrowing" of material from their clients! It is illegal, and I will NOT be doing that! If you can't come up with your own ideas, stick with the widely available books, modules. and campaigns that are on the market!
Regards!
